Off to the Pumpkin Patch

We went to Hunter Farms out in Union, Wa.

It's located along the Hood Canal.

It was JR's first weekend off in quite some time. The weather was sunny but cold. Typical Washington weather in the fall. The ride out on the hay wagon was fun. When we got to the patch where the pumpkins were the pickings were very slim. All the good ones were gone and the ones that were left were surrounded by mud. JR and I attempted to get some of the ones surrounded by the mud but our feet kept on sinking in the mud. We also almost lost our shoes in the yucky mud. So we got some green ones and then while waiting in line to pay there were bug bins that had some nice looking orange ones so we traded in our green ones. Well everybody but me. I really like my pear shaped green pumpkin. All in all it was a very fun day at the patch.

New Glasses

I got these cute frames from Costco and they came in on Friday.

It's my new hip look.

Kenny's 3rd Birthday

Sunday Sept. 28th

So Kenny is now 3 yrs. old. We or shall I say I decided to have a Backyardigans themed party. Decorations and all. His favorite character is Pablo. A blue penguin. If you don't know who the Backyardigans are they are on Nick Jr. All their houses share one backyard and they use their imaginations to go fun places and sing songs all in their backyard. It's a cute show and all the kids love watching it. So in short we had a Pablo party for Kenny.

He got alot of Pablo things. Everyone was here; Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Joe, Grandma and Grampa Gatlin, Auntie Em, Uncle Ken and his girlfriend Chelsey, Uncle Bill and Aunt D and baby Ali, Auntie Em, Carla, Alex, William and Jordan. Uncle Jeff had to work :0( Oh well it was a fun party. Thank you for all coming and helping celebrate Kenny.

M's vs. Angels

Monday Sept. 22

We got tickets to the Angels game. Uncle Bill and Aunt D came over and watched the kiddies for us so we could have an evening out by ourselves. It was a fun night just the two of us. We caught the ferry from Bremerton to Seattle. It was a nice walk to the game.

Family Bonfire

Sept. 12, 2008

Mike, Lee and their daughter Maggie came up for a visit. They live in Huntington Beach, CA. We get to see them every once and awhile cause they have busy lives in CA and hardly get the chance to come up. If anyone does get to see them it's on a planned trip to CA. So everyone came over to Grandma and Grandpa's house for another bonfire.
