Awana Celebration

Jacob finished his last year in Cubbies and is going to be in Sparks next year .

In 2 years of Cubbies he learned about 62 verses from the Bible.

Annie finished her second book in Sparks and has just one more year until she joins Charlie in
T & T. She learned 48 verses between her first 2 books, but she went through each book twice in order to get the review patch for her vest. She also learned all the books of the Bible. Only one more book to go :0)


We are proud of Charlie cause he finished his first book in T & T this year.
In his first book he had to memorize 67 verses. If you think about it he has memorized more than that cause was his 5th year in Awana. He has memorized so much and has much more to learn.

Weekend Trip to Seaside

We had so much fun there last August we decided to make a little trip for the weekend. The weather was wonderful and the kids had a blast. Good times had by all :0)

Awana Grand Prix

April 17, 2009

This year I was not at the Grand Prix. I was away at a Womens Conference. JR helped the kids paint their cars and took them to the races. I was bummed that I was going to miss it but I know that they would have fun. Last year the kids won every race that they were in but when they started racing eachother they started loosing. I was happy to hear that they all did well and had a fun night.

Sounders Game

Saturday April 11

This was game one of seven that we had tickets to. JR bought a seven game package. This was also one of our date nights. It was a fun evening just the two of us. We got a sitter for the kids. THANK YOU CARLA ! ! ! We took the ferry over and drove home. We parked rather close to Qwest Stadium; the lot was right next to a Krispy Kreme Donut Shop. So a stop there before we headed home was in order. A yummy treat for the drive home.

Along with our Easter celebration with the family we had Annie's birthday party too. Everyone was there to help make the day even more special. She got alot of fun treasures from everyone.

We had our Easter celebration early because our family would not be around on Easter this year. We had wonderful weather for the first time this spring. The kids had so much fun running around looking for all the eggs and the fun treasures that they held inside. Here are some pictures from the egg hunt.

Argosy Princess Cruise

For one of Annie's birthday presents I took her on a Princess Cruise. It was a 2 hr. trip around the sound put on by Spirit 105.3 a christian radio station. They had a goodie bag for her with a foam crown to decorate, a sticker page and a paper to put them on, some bubbles and some other fun crafty things. They also had a ice cream sundae bar, a make-up station and a glitter station. The weather was so nice for our special mother daughter day. I know she had good time; she couldn't say thank you enough times :0) This also was a suprise for her, she didn't know where we were going until we got to Seattle.
